It took the wrong root.
Last Friday saw Team Tawd and WLBC Ranger Chris Horsfall clearing fallen trees from two pathways within Tawd Valley Park. Chris donned his safety gear and got to work with his trusty chainsaw, cutting through the trees that were blocking public access through the Tawd Valley Park.
As the trunks and branches were divided into pieces, the rest of the team got to work clearing it from the paths and using the wooden material to create fungal and bug hotels.
The second half of the session saw the gang get to work on the weeding of the newly installed rain garden at Tawd Vale allotments.
