River Douglas Catchment Partnership

Friends of Tawd Valley are recent members of the River Douglas Catchment Partnership, a group of individuals and organisations, hosted by Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside. The partnership was formed with the shared goal of working towards the improvement of the River Douglas and it’s tributaries, the River Tawd being one of them. Improvements include; river habitat restoration, tackling pollution and working with communities, businesses, landowners, councils and farmers to ensure that we’re all taking our share of responsibility.
