On Sunday the rain stayed away for our fantastic “Moth Breakfast” event.
A group of between 15 – 20 members of the community attended the FoTV classroom to listen to Ranger Chris give a fascinating talk and to show us the moths that can be found in the local area.
Everyone gathered around to see what the moth trap contained and were thrilled to see what species could be found so close to home. One guest described the morning as, “Very informative and interesting”.
Thank you to everyone who came and a huge thank you to Ranger Chris for the talk, Terry Lake for the delicious sausage barms and to Peter Meadows for providing his juicy allotment tomatoes to go with them. Yummy!
