Scrape Spectacular

FoTV volunteers and West Lancs Ranger Service had a fantastic day on Saturday, continuing the work on the wetland scrape project by the Tawd Valley Park Community Fruit Orchard.

The digging was a slog, and it was very wet and dirty, but amazing progress was made, and the project is coming along nicely. It was wonderful to see a migrant hawker dragonfly fly by and checking out its new future home.

Thank you so much to all involved. The work done here is vital to the local environment and wildlife, and it will look brilliant when its finished.
